First Impressions of the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 | Can't Believe What I Saw

Deep in the middle of the Irish Sea lies a place most people have never heard of — the Isle of Man.

A self-governing Crown Dependency that’s not part of the UK, Ireland, or even the European Union, this tiny island of just 85,000 people has its own parliament (the world’s oldest continuous one), its own language, its own currency… and more quirks than you can count.

It’s a land of tailless cats, wild wallabies, sheep with up to six horns, Viking castles, prehistoric stone circles, ancient burial tombs, and a motorbike race so dangerous it’s claimed over 270 lives. Here, locals greet fairies at bridges, carve turnips instead of pumpkins, and avoid saying the word rat at all costs.

In this video, I spend 24 hours exploring the Isle of Man — with no hotel, no car, and just a head torch and a packed lunch my mum made me. I’ll take you from medieval Castletown and the magical Cregneash village to the beaches of Port Erin and Port St Mary. Along the way, we’ll uncover:
