Gary David Bingley served with the 2nd Parachute Regiment in the Falkland Islands, where he was killed in action at the battle for Goose Green in late May 1982. Prior to that service, he was stationed in Northern Ireland and knew most of those killed in August 1979 by roadside bombs.
