I was asked to work on designing and building an Altar, Pulpit, and Baptismal Font for the Trinity United Methodist Church sanctuary in Sequim, WA. The pieces involve veneered bent laminated panels as well as conventional construction techinques. This ninth video documents the construction and fitting top and bottom frames to connect the Altar and Pulpit to their bases and tops as well as an interior shelf for each piece. Veneering with heat activated glue is demonstrated, also. Follow on videos will document all the additional processes.
