Heaton Parkrun

I ran Heaton Park in 21:48 and finished 55th.

Storm Amy was wet and brutal... but worth it. Thank you to the volunteers, I tried to keep up with the 20 and 21 pacer. I did my best. Maybe shouting "repeat after me I love hills" at the beginning of Angina Hill wasn't a good strategy but I needed to declare it.

It is great meeting new people and making friends. I really enjoy meeting the people in person who watches my videos.

Everyone keep safe especially when the days are getting darker and colder... darkness never last forever. Make sure you let people know where you are going and run in groups if needed. Do not forget to ask for "Angela" if feeling unsafe and vulnerable.
