I have both the JCM 2000 DSL 100 watt head and the DSL 40C 40 watt combo so I wanted to A/B them. While I was at it, I wanted to compare them with some speakers that I have. The speakers used was a new Celestion Greenback, an Eminence The Wizard and an Eminence Texas Heat. Also used the speaker that comes with DSL 40C which is a Celestion 70/80.
All takes were miced with a Shure SM 57 halfway out from the center of the speaker. The mic was not moved and the EQ was not changed between takes so the only difference are the amps and the speakers.
