Wakar "Rumji" ta kungiyar Gez Band ta jihar Agadez da ke Jamhuriyar Nijar.
Hawan kaho or Wasan Rumji is a traditional butcher ceremony in Niger. Indeed during this ceremony, the butchers under the effect of a trance confront face to face, a well-horned angry bull in order to climb its head by clinging to its horns.
Guez Band - a tradi-modern musical formation from Arlit, a small city in the middle of the desert, in the North-Ouest region of Niger. They were mostly during the 90s and early 00s. In the vein of their elders (Orchestre Caravan, L'International de la Capitale, Les Amabssadeurs du Sahel or Mamane Sani) as much as their contemporary siblings (Toubal de Dosso, Etran Fintawa, Tal National, etc), they melt nigeriens traditional repertoire with contemporary techniques and instruments. And this one is quite well done! Syncopated rhythms lead by two drummers and over electric guitars and responsorial chants in hausa language.
