Romanian style Bean Soup with smoked ribs

Today we are making Romanian style Bean Soup with smoked ribs, a soup from the region I am from, northern Romania, Maramures County.
This soup has quite a few variations and obviously the ingredients or preparations method differs from a place to another...Romania is a big country, so I don't think this come as a surprise :)
