I purchased this old band drive Athearn loco off Ebay in a lot with several other engines. I tested it and it didn't seem to run so I thought I would have a go at trying to get it running again. All of the wheels and electrical systems had heavy oxidization so they required a fair bit of cleaning. Many other components required lubrication. I'm overall happy with how it turned out.
