Hello lovies! Welcome to Vlogmas day 8🍛🎄. Today I’m trying something new and cooking a Filipino dish for the first time which is pork adobo 🇵🇭
This recipe uses simple ingredients but has so much flavor. I filmed the entire process, from boiling the pork to frying it until golden, and of course the taste test at the end.

PORK ADOBO RECIPE
Cooking time: ~45–60 minutes
Ingredients:
1 kg pork belly, cut into chunks
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup water
Garlic, finely chopped (generous amount)
2 onions, finely chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Place pork belly in a pot and add 1 cup of water.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
3. Add vinegar, 1 chopped onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Boil until pork is tender (about 30–40 minutes).
5. Remove pork and set aside, reserving the cooking liquid.
6. Fry the pork in a pan until golden brown.
7. Add remaining chopped onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
8. Pour in the reserved cooking liquid and let it simmer for 5–10 minutes.
9. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
10. Serve hot with rice.
