Ann Wanjiru is a young woman who was born and raised in Dandora. She grew up with her single mother, who later fell ill, requiring Ann to take care of her. At the age of 16, Ann met a man and got married, but she couldn't complete her studies. Her husband supported her family, but tragically, he passed away when Ann was eight months pregnant.
After the burial, Ann couldn't afford rent, and the landlord took all her household items. She had to move back in with her parent. To support her child, Ann started hustling. On her first day, she met a kind client who paid her 4,000 shillings, and the second client was also generous. However, not all experiences were positive—one outcall client used her services and fled without paying.
Later, Ann and her friend encountered two men who bought them drinks and requested outcall services. Once inside the car, the men blindfolded them and took them to an unknown location. The next morning, they were dropped in Ruaka, stranded without bus fare, and had to beg for a lift from passing cars.
Back home, Ann followed her friend to another job because she needed money to feed her family. She met a Hindu client who surprised her by paying 40,000 shillings, leaving her thrilled. They switched to a new club, where Ann met another client who requested outcall services. They agreed on a price of 5,000 shillings, with the promise of additional payment. The client lived alone in a mansion and asked Ann to cook some meat from the fridge. Ann was shocked by what she saw inside.
