I Played Mornington Crescent on the London Underground (No, Really!)

Today I took on the most gloriously baffling challenge in British radio history — recreating a real-life game of Mornington Crescent on the London Underground.
For the uninitiated, Mornington Crescent is a long-running segment from BBC Radio 4’s I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue, where contestants name Tube stations in a seemingly nonsensical order, until someone triumphantly declares “Mornington Crescent!” and wins... somehow.

I chose one of the most chaotic versions ever aired — the “Trivia” round from Series 52 — and set out to visit all twelve stations named, across Zones 1, 2, and 3.
Featuring closed stations, baffled tourists, endless escalators, and a growing sense of existential dread, this was six hours of glorious nonsense — all for a two-second clip at the end.
