Many skaters will live their whole life without learning a stronger stop than the T-Stop.
And that is ok. But if you want to be able to stop at a faster rate, especially when wet and in traffic, consider becoming proficient in a good working slide like soul, magic and parallel. Which one you can learn the quickest will do. For me the easier and most foolproof is the soul slide. Even more than powerslide as the soul does not require any transition and can be performed at any speed you can naturally reach.
