Littletown Farm, Newlands Valley, Cumbria

Imagine waking up here with this amazing view…

We recently stayed at the foot of Catbells, at Littletown Farm B&B, which boasts breathtaking views of the unspoilt Newlands Valley, providing warm and comfortable accommodation and a delicious Cumbrian breakfast too.

Catbells Cottages is run by local lass Sarah. Newlands born and bred, Sarah is the third generation to run the award-winning guesthouse at Littletown Farm, taking over from her parents in 2011. The farm is run by her brother, Martin, who is a hill shepherd, and as I was asking permission to send my drone up to film the beautiful surroundings, Martin asked if I would be able to film the glamping pods too, of which I was happy to do.

Situated at the foot of Catbells in the hamlet of Littletown, within the unspoilt Newlands Valley, regarded as one of the most picturesque and quiet valleys in the Lake District National Park, even though it is situated just five miles from the popular tourist town of Keswick. The area is also well known for its links with Beatrix Potter, particularly Mrs Tiggywinkle.

Without doubt, the location is a rambler’s paradise. And nestled in Cumbria’s Newlands Valley, the Littletown Glamping Pods can be found amid the breathtaking Lake District landscape.
