This is from a DU playthrough in which Gale is romanced. I am uploading this before deleting the file. This upload is more for myself than anything since Larian's patches keep changing his romance (and, arguably, bits of his characterisation). With all the lore I've learnt since this playthrough, I can confidently say Gale dodged a bullet with regards to Mystra. All of her Chosen have profoundly Big Issues. I can only imagine what would become of her lovers long-term, especially since Mystra is gaslighting pretty much everyone about Epic Magic (technically it's still possible to cast 10th+ level spells, she and Azuth just basically don't let anyone do it; this is something confirmed by Gale in BG3, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to attempt Karsus' Avatar).
