📝 Story Description
In this emotional episode, we return to V's apartment complex to follow up on the Happy Together side quest. We check in on our neighbor, Barry*, a depressed NCPD officer, only to find his colleagues, *Mendez and *Petrova*, frantically trying to reach him.
Tragically, we realize we are too late. Barry has taken his own life inside his apartment. We witness the raw and painful aftermath as the officers process the loss. Mendez reacts with anger, viewing the suicide as a weakness, while Petrova is heartbroken that they missed the signs.
We discuss the truth about Barry's "best friend" Andrew—who Mendez mocked, not realizing it was the only thing keeping Barry going. It's a somber reminder of the mental toll Night City takes on its residents. The episode concludes with the officers taking Barry's body to the columbarium.
