Discover Casa Yuri by Zozaya Arquitectos, a breathtaking oceanfront home, where bold contemporary design meets the spirit of the Pacific. This immersive tour showcases the house’s most striking feature – a monumental palapa with a palm-thatched roof over seventeen meters wide and soaring more than eleven meters high – framing endless views of the sea and sky.
Walk through cascading levels built into a steep two-thousand-two-hundred-square-meter cliffside site, from a dramatic sculptural staircase that rises to the open-air vestibule, to expansive terraces, lounges, and a pool suspended on concrete cantilevers that appears to float above the coastline. Explore guest suites, private quarters, a gym, sauna, children’s pool, playroom, gardens, and shaded corridors that blend interior and exterior spaces seamlessly.
Learn how Casa Yuri celebrates local craftsmanship and materials – palm wood, parota carpentry, river stones, Vermont beige marble, chukum-style plaster – while embracing bioclimatic strategies like cross-ventilation, thick walls, deep overhangs, and a wastewater recycling system for irrigation. The landscape design features native flowering plants and green roofs that soften the architecture and connect it to its natural surroundings.
This video reveals how Casa Yuri combines structural audacity, natural beauty, and sustainable luxury to create a home that lives in harmony with the ocean, the cliffs, and the tropical landscape.
