The XS400 build is another step closer to being finished. In this video the clutch basket and friction plates are put back in, clutch cover gasket and engine breather gaskets are made from flexoid paper.
The engine breather cover was looking a bit ropey so gave that a lick of paint with the cheapest and only tin of silver paint Screwfix had and that came out great.
All the original casing screws were rusted and rounded over so these were replaced with a stainless Allen fixing kit purchased from ebay
