The term 'PandavKholi' or 'PanduKholi' literally means Pandava's Shelter. It is said that Pandavas resides in this place during the first year of Agyatvas after completing 12 years of exile.
The nearest town is Dwarahat which is easily accessible from the nearest railway station Kathgodam. From Dwarahat you have to take a taxi or you can self-drive if you have your own vehicle, towards Kukuchhina. From Kukuchhina you'll have to do a 3 km of moderate level trek till Pandavkholi.
Tapovan is at a 5-minute distance from Pandavkholi, a place where Pandavas worshiped Lord Shiva.
Around 1.5 to 2 km downhill the cave of Mahavataar Baba Ji is situated.
