Playing the old jazz standard 'All The Things You Are' through my new Quilter Aviator 12 open back amp. Connected to channel one with volume set very low at about 8 o'clock and tone set at 10 o' clock. Recording from the DI to mixer eq set flat. I like my guitar tone control rolled off a little above halfway to get a fat woody tone. This is one nice amp for jazz, I highly recommend it. It makes my cheap Epiphone Emperor II hollowbody sound like a big guitar.
For tube amps I have a Rivera Jazz Suprema 15 50w and a Rivera Clubster Doce 30w. The Aviator 12 is more articulate and responsive, I can definitely say Quilter is a class of it's own.
