If you like catching bass with top water flies, this is your next fly. A Tony Tomsu pattern that uses a clam shell technique to mix and match foam colors creating the perfect frog body.
In this video you will learn how to tie this ultra effective pattern. Feel free to mix and match color styles to match the perfect frog in your area of the world. I have found that in the Rocky Mountains, that the yellow or white underbelly is best. I love the movement of the Sili Legs and you cant go wrong with the barred color.
This pattern is a lot of fun to tie, but more fun to watch as it triggers hits and bites on the top water. Its also very durable. I've caught upwards of 20 bass on one fly before the legs begin to break, but even then it still works.
