Paris Texas is the duo which you have most likely no idea of, but have DEFINITELY listened to. The duo (Louie & Felix Pastel), originated in Los Angeles, California, settled their way into the experimental/punk rap scene in March of 2021, with their hit debut single "HEAVY METAL"

But what makes Paris Texas so unique, to the point where they gained over 250k Monthly Listeners in just 30 days? Well, to put things simple, they found a way to be unique. But, what exactly did they do, to be unique?

Paris Texas always mixes genres. Most likely the best example of this statement is their first song from their EP, Red Hand Akimbo - "Dr.Aco's Miracle Bullets", where the duo raps on a rock type-ish beat.

But what really made the duo gain so much traction and over 250k monthly listeners, was when Spotify started "recommending" their songs. By that I mean, they started listing them into Spotify official playlists. And knowing that Spotify has over 1.5k created playlists, ALL OF WHICH are being constantly updated, made the duo gain over 250k monthly listeners, in just 30 days.
