In Matthew 1 the name for Jesus is "Immanuel, which means God with us." God chose to come to be with us.
This year we experienced a lot of without. Without in person gatherings. Without toilet paper. Without dropping out kids off for school. This is in start contrast with what Jesus chose to do. He chose to be with. He was born, grew, and walked on this earth.
