Explore the Cascades and near ghost towns through the Okanogan, Experiencing America

Explore the past and present to experience the cascades to Leavensworth, and Yakima Washington and into Oregon along the Columbia River and down route 395. From ranch lands to abandoned homesteads, near ghost towns, mining communities and the endless changing landscape in the videos to follow, along the Arizona Mexico border. We take the scenic byways to visit this vast a beautiful country as we explore the history of the places we visit along the way. We ventured down americas loneliest highway, and rode the first portion of the Arizona BDR. Riding Moab and Castle Valley, Colorado to the 4 corners, Tombstone and the OK Corral and onto the South East and North rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion to Yosemite and back across the Sierra Nevadas and up through Lake Tahoe  and onto the lava field and ice caves and so much more!

Jonathan rides his Africa twin and I ride my GS, on this trip while I’m getting to know this brand new bike on the road. We are camping and staying in hotels and visiting friends and family along the way.

Leaving in mid September we have a rough plan for our travel but 50 mile an hour winds and temperatures ranging from 5 degrees Celsius or 41 degree F to a crazy heat wave of 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees F on the pavement definitely was hotter than we expected in the desert this time of year, and we changed our plans more than a few times, but that is half the fun, adapting to what mother nature throws at you.

I hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed the experience and I will put the next segment in the series out each week as I go through the 1800 video clips I’m working on now!
