Just a simple pulse jet I built in school about 5 or 6 years ago. It's been sitting in the garage since then because I didnt find any proper fuel feeding system for it and then I kinda forgot about it. Now I found it again and wanted to test if it works :) I had to do some finishing welding (this pulse jet was actually the first thing I welded in my life, so it wasn't really air tight at all), but as you may see in the video, I still didn't find a proper fuel feed so I just held a (leaking) gas burner in my hand. Obviously it's not really safe so I don't recommend doing this :)
I did get it running beautifully after figuring out where to hold the gas burner, but it was barely idling when I had the gas valve full open! Does anyone know if I should be getting higher frequency with this?
