According to Kodi Swami’s lakhs of devotee’s experiences, it is believed that Sri Kodi (Thatha) Swamy was lived for a few hundred years and attained Mahasamadhi on 11th October 1993 at Puravipalayam Jamin (Zamin) Campus. Kodi Swamigal was considered as a holy saint / siddhar and was greatly respected by his devotees and by other saints / siddhars and received blessings from him.

Kodi Swamigal at Dhanushkodi from 1940 -1950

After his intense penance on the shores of Dhanushkodi, Kodi Swamigal and Shri
Varadarajulu Naidu left for the latter's house during the early '50s. Kodi Swamigal made prayer on standing with single leg position near Danushkodi Seashore.

Kodi Swamigal at Trichy, Chennai, Madurai & Coimbatore - 1950 – 1962

After major compulsion of Shri. Varadharajalu Naidu, Kodi Swamigal accepted his requests come to Trichy from Dhanushkodi. Kodi Swamigal seems to have come to Trichy and stayed at Kallukuzhi Anjaneyar Temple. Kodi Swamigal sometimes left Trichy for impromptu visits to Advocate Ekambaram house at Tondaiyarpet, Chennai, also visited to Madurai & Neikaranpatty Zamin in Coimbatore district.

Kodi Swamigal at Puravipalayam - 1963- 1994

The wandering mystic finally halted at the palace of Puravipalayam. Kodi Swamigal chose the palace's terrace and stayed there till he shed his physical body over 40 years.

In 1986, senior medical experts from England and Spain visited Puravipalayam. They tried to find Kodi Swamigal age by testing his DNA, but the experts could achieve nothing concrete. Kodi Swamigal was a manifestation of someone beyond age and the limits of the universe. Kodi Swamigal gross body (sthula sharira) appeared like the body of a 90-year-old to his devotees.

The Silent Saint of Kodi Swamigal

Kodi Thatha uttered very few words and always spoke in sukshama (cryptic). However, listeners who understood the meaning of the words found them as valuable as diamonds. Kodi Thatha Knows all Attama Siddhi and flying on the Air. All divotees are assured Kodi Swamigal is nothing but Lord Sivan Avathar. Most of the significant relationship with Padagachery Ramalinga Swamigal and Siradi Sai Baba. Kodi Swamigal does not have any Juniors (Seedars) for his spiritual travel.

Kodi Thatha decried puffery and kept off from all kinds of ballyhoo. Kodi Swamigal was hardly known to a handful of people while living in a human form. Kodi Swamigal detested crowds and constantly tested the sincerity of devotees before lending a helping hand. The last thirty years of His life at Puravipalayam, a small village near Pollachi in Coimbatore district of Tamilnadu.
