I revisited an old video of mine and gave it the love it deserves. A new edit on the story about Rickard Sjöquist wanting to climb the iconic Miséricorde, 7C+ in Fontainebleau.
He tried the boulder problem a couple of days prior to me starting filming him. This footage is from the last couple of hours before Rickard had to go back to Sweden.
On top of being one of my favourite stories, this video is the first one that I shot with a mirrorless camera (the good old Sony a6500). Before this, I made climbing videos with an old GoPro (or beta videos as they're called throughout the climbing community). Since I only had basic experience with cameras which didn't run on auto, the post production became a hassle. The footage was an over exposured catastrophe. Well, my first edit a couple of years ago dosen't really come close to my standard today. But the story told is worth the extra time it took to remake this video and give it to you once more.
