Sailing on our Leopard 40 catamaran Guadeloupe to Antigua in the Caribbean turns out to be adventurous. Not because of high winds and raging seas, but the enormous amount of fish traps the dot the ocean like sea-mines! Literally, we have to weave between them for hours!
But the work was worth it as we ended up in the idyllic waters of Antigua, where English Naval history collides with the Arawaks and Kalinago (Carib) peoples.
In this first episode on Antigua, our Batguy Drone surveys Falmouth Harbour and the super-yachts that make their way to this hidden gem of an island, while we explore Nelson’s Dockyard and the artifacts it beholds.
