Missoni’s Spring/Summer 2001 collection explored a modern interpretation of the “rich woman’s world,” combining sensuous fabrics, layered constructions, and distinctive pattern work.
The collection featured fluid crepe, satin, and jersey garments, shaped with structured cummerbunds and double-buckle belts. Evening looks included beaded trousers and metallic Lurex knits, while ruffles and draped silhouettes introduced sculptural movement.
Missoni’s signature zigzag motifs and vibrant prints were integrated throughout, complemented by oversized M-shaped bangles. The collection extended beyond ready-to-wear with coordinated swimsuits, printed robes, and beach accessories, presenting a cohesive vision of leisure and luxury.
