DRZ400s Unleashed: Epic First Day Offroad Blast – Villena to Caudete, Spain!

full-day adventure with our new to us Suzuki DRZ 400s! After just a few weeks of ownership, we couldn’t wait to test them where they belong: deep offroad in the wilds of inland Spain.

We kicked off from Villena – Las Vertudes and blasted through a mix of hardpack gravel, sandy tracks, dusty farm roads, and forgotten backcountry paths. The route took us through Yecla, Ontur, Pozohondo, Pozo Cañada, Petrola, Corral Rubio, Bonete, and finally Caudete – passing tons of abandoned fincas (old farmhouses) that feel straight out of a Western movie. Pure La Mancha vibes: wide open spaces, zero traffic, and endless opportunities to pin it on the DRZ!
