On Friday, January 9th I went out to ride the 195 since I saw it had bus 16001 on it. 16001 is one of three MCI D4500CT demonstrator buses acquired by NJTransit back in 2016. This makes it the oldest active diesel MCI on NJTransit's roster. As far as I know, the other demo units (16002 and 16003) have both unfortunately been scrapped. 16001 is mostly just like every other MCI however it is not equipped with the side view camera like most buses are. Enjoy this trip as we ride into New York in darkness!
