Kepa Bush Reserve is located on New Zealand's North Island, in the Southern end of Mission Bay, a seaside suburb of Auckland city.
All the tracks combined is about 3.2km long, and takes around 40min to
an hour. with a good combination of uphill and down hill sections. The reserve can be accessed from either Thatcher St, Kepa Rd or Colenso Place.
Off-street parking is available on Thatcher St.
The reserve lies on the slopes of Purewa Creek that flows past Orakei
Basin into Hobson Bay, tucked behind the Eastridge Shopping Centre, and is a real hidden gem that spreads over 13 hectares. The trail goes through native bush and is mainly shaded. It's a real peaceful walk through the reserve amongst the birds during the day, and at night glow-worms can be seen in the gully near the entrance.
