Today, we Teacher Jessica, you can learn a structure to express something is becoming very popular recently. All of these expressions include the Chinese word Here are some

引发了 (yǐnfā le)
带动了 (dàidòng le)
掀起了 (xiānqǐ le)

The above words can have "热 (rè)" added at the end.

"热 (rè)" comes from "热潮 (rècháo)" which means "vigorous mass campaign".

For example:

Zhè yí diànshì jiémù dàidòng le yì chǎng xuǎnxiù rè.
这一电视节目带动了一场选秀热。
Talent shows are becoming popular because of the television program.

Here are some new vocabulary in the lesson:

"历史文物热 (Lì shǐ wén wù rè)". "历史文物 (Lì shǐ wén wù)" refers to "cultural treasures".
"嘻哈热 (xī hā rè)". In this expression, "嘻哈 (xī hā)" means "hip-hop".
