A short video about the afternoon tea that I had for some local friends. I bought what I thought were notelets they turned out to be invitations. Which, of course, meant that I had to have an afternoon tea, inspired by Lady Whistleblower! Haha
Recipe for Lemonade scones, the easiest scones I have ever made! Ingredients below, recipe on the video. So easy, honestly give them a go. Just don't overwork the dough. I'll be honest and say the ones without sultanas rose better than the ones with.
350g self-raising flour, plus extra to dust
150ml double cream (heavy cream)
150ml lemonade (not sugar-free)
Cook in a preheated oven for 12-15 mins at 185. Or until they are risen and golden.
