In this video I dive into Commodore 64 BASIC, using the VICE C64 emulator, and show how classic games can still come to life today — with a little help from ChatGPT.
I start with a simple “Guess the Number” game and then take things much further by building a fully playable Snake game from scratch. Step by step, we turn raw BASIC code into something that actually feels like a real arcade-style game.
This session is also a warm-up for something special:
the upcoming Commodore 64 Ultimate – Starlight Edition.
Before the real hardware arrives, this is about getting back into the mindset of classic programming — limitations, logic, and pure creativity.
