I found my vintage Tamagotchis from the early 2000's

Almost 20 years later, I found my OLD Tamagotchi collection (all 5 of them)! I have some Tamagotchi V1's, V2's and a V3. Come with me as I replace the ancient batteries with new ones and see if they still work after all these years. They're like time capsules!

What are Tamagotchis? Tamagotchi is a keychain-sized virtual pet simulation game. In 2004, beginning with the Tamagotchi Plus/Connection, a second wave of Tamagotchi toys emerged, featuring a different graphic design by artist JINCO and gameplay which elaborated upon the first generations.

The creature goes through several stages of growth, and will develop differently depending on the care the player provides. Pets have a Hunger meter, Happy meter and a Training meter to determine how healthy and well-behaved the pet is.
