Sarah Vaughan - Dindi - 12 July 1981 • World of Jazz

"Dindi" (which sounds like Jin-jee in English) is a song composed by famous Brazilian composer Antônio Carlos Jobim, with lyrics by Aloysio de Oliveira. It is a world-famous bossa nova standard.
Sarah Vaughan performed it during her 1982 North Sea Jazz concert.

Sarah Lois Vaughan (March 27, 1924 – April 3, 1990) was an American jazz singer, described by Scott Yanow as having "one of
the most wondrous voices of the 20th century."
This concert at the North Sea Jazz Festival was recorded on 12 July 1981.
