On the 17th of July 2023 we see DB Cargo 90039 “I am the backbone of the economy” departing from London Euston with a private charter for train planners, which ran to Carlisle via the S&C. 67006 was on the rear.
After this tour, 90039 was placed into store, along with all other DB 90s due to “high energy costs” of running these locos. Britain really is backwards these days…
