The results from my second big attempt at getting a dragon full helm, this time with another 6k kills to add to the total (making a total of 10k so far).

After first trying for the helm back in 2007 (and failing), I decided to give it another try this year. Quite a few things have changed since the last time I tried for the helm, the kills are a lot more rewarding now (effigies, charms, elite clues) and quite a fair bit faster (extremes, super antifires, chaotic weaps, curses etc).

Time to burn those 149 chewies and see what goodies I get this time.

Q. Why is there a black flash just before you get the helm?

Just a little editing mistake, the clip is split there so I could slow the video back to normal speed when I get the helm (you'll notice it goes from fast forward to regular speed at that exact moment). I just accidentally left a little gap in between the two clips when adjusting the speed.


Q. What is that sparkly thing on your head?

It is a Guthix Halo, you can get them from Castle Wars for 300 tickets. They have the highest magic defence of any helmet and reduce the drain rate of certain prayers and curses by 1/3rd.


Q. What are you going to do with the helm?

I'm probably gonna keep it for a few months, but once I get bored of wearing it I'll just sell it. I won't be keeping it indefinitely. XD


Q. What did you use the effigies on?

Runecrafting, still a few I haven't opened yet (can't do the smithing/mining ones), but will most likely be using them on RC too once I get 96 smithing.
