Dining at Chicago's Former Signature Room on the 95th Floor of the John Hancock Building!

Come along with me for a final fine dining experience at Chicago's famous Signature Room restaurant, previously located way up high on the 95th Floor of the John Hancock Building on Michigan Avenue! I’m not sure which was better - the food and beverage service or the views of Lake Michigan, Lake Shore Drive, Navy Pier, and downtown Chicago! The John Hancock building itself has also appeared in several movies over the years. It was Clark Griswold's office building in Christmas Vacation, it was the apartment building little Carol Ann lived in in Poltergeist III, and the Signature Room was where Joel and Lana dined at the end of Risky Business, just to name a few. The building was also once home to Oprah Winfrey and Chris Farley, and is where he passed away. Sadly, the Signature Room restaurant abruptly closed a mere 3 weeks after this video was filmed on Labor Day weekend of 2023. This may be one of the last videos ever recorded there. I hope you enjoy seeing the restaurant in its former glory and those amazing views nonetheless. Here's hoping whoever takes over the space will keep it a public space, affording the public a look at those amazing views!
