Unlocking depth with a prime telephoto lens at Ross Sands in Northumberland
Join me on the pristine, mile - long sweeping beach of Ross Sands one of Northumberland's most untouched gems, where beautiful dunes meet the North sea. Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne sit so wonderfully to the North and South of this gorgeous stretch of coastline. In this video I reveal how I create depth in landscape photography using a 180mm prime lens by adding layers in compositions. No Zooms, no excuses.
Optically stacking near Marram grasses within dunes and revealing wonderful distant castles on the horizon, so ditch the wide angle lens and create the Northumberland coast into a rich depth of serene layered landscape with nothing but a prime telephoto lens.
