At its core, the 2030 Agenda is a global promise to create an inclusive, secure, resilient, and sustainable future for everyone, everywhere, reflected in 17 sustainable development goals, with 169 targets to be reached by 2030. This video explains how to integrate three of the six guiding principles underlining all these goals and targets, into the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks, adopting the bold transformative shifts in the United Nations development approach, that are necessary for the 2030 Agenda to succeed.
The three guiding principles covered in this video are:
1) The human rights-based approach to development;
2) Leave no one behind, and;
3) Gender equality and women’s empowerment
