ICP Savannah S

Sold Pending... Now on the marketplace is this delightful brand new (2024) ICP Savannah S. Assembled by the aviation students of Mueller College, this aircraft features a Trig radio, AvMap Ultra EFIS, vortex generators on the leading edge of each wing, and a custom paint job. The Savannah has an extended baggage compartment and 4 x 36 litre wing tanks feeding in to a 6 litre header tank, all plumbed as one tank. It is RA-Aus registered 19-2151 and has been successfully flown; currently it is up to 12.5 hours on its way to completing the mandatory 25 hours flight testing before sale. 19-2151 as mentioned was built by a team of high school aviation students under the guidance of four experienced Savannah builders and flyers. Each stage of the build was checked off by an L2 RA-Aus certifier. The students were also involved in the corrosion proofing, primer/undercoat, basecoat, and masking off and painting of the livery; this was done in the Alliance Airlines paint facility at Brisbane Airport as part of a sponsorship arrangement. The aircraft comes with an ex-flight school Rotax 912 ULS with 2000 hours logged. Log books for the aircraft build and engine are available for perusal and will of course travel with the aircraft upon sale.

A little bit of Mueller Aviation kit aeroplane build history. We began our kit aeroplane building journey when the SAAA accepted Mueller College as being one of the four schools to build 'Miss Tori', a Vans Rv-12. Mueller built the right wing. After that was completed, we inherited a Zenith Zodiac 601 then moved on to an ICP Savannah S which arrived at the school in April 2023 and took approximately 20 months to build. Our intention is to build a Savannah every 2 to 3 years selling each one after completion and test flying which will then finance the next build.
