Our Magical Day at The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour! London Day 2 + Dishoom King’s Cross ✨🪄🇬🇧

Welcome to Day 2 of our London adventure! Today was all about stepping straight into the Wizarding World at the Warner Bros. Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour, followed by an incredible dinner at Dishoom King’s Cross — one of our favorite meals of the trip. 🇬🇧✨

We started the morning by taking the Tube from King’s Cross / St Pancras to head out to the Warner Bros. Studio. The experience begins even before you walk inside, with massive Harry Potter artwork, props, and the excitement building from fellow fans in line. Once inside… WOW. The Great Hall, Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest, Platform 9¾ — everything looked just like it does in the films.

We explored real sets, costumes, wands, animatronics, and special-effects displays that bring the magic to life. The kids especially loved the interactive exhibits, including wand choreography, riding a broomstick on green screen, and learning how the creatures were made. And of course… we tried Butterbeer! Definitely a must.

The Studio Tour is massive — plan on spending 4–6 hours if you really want to enjoy everything. There’s a huge gift shop at the end where you can buy robes, wands, chocolate frogs, house scarves, and more. Yes… we left with souvenirs.

After heading back into the city, we ended the night with dinner at Dishoom King’s Cross, one of London’s most beloved restaurants. The food was incredible — from the tender chicken tikka to the famous black daal — and the atmosphere made for the perfect ending to a magical day.
