Twenty-three years after humanity toppled the Federation, the galaxy is still bleeding.

Meanwhile, far across the stars, human operative Taylor Trench slips into the emerald-scaled Krev Consortium, a fortress society that armors both its bodies and its secrets. The Krev offer miracles—instant neural scans, mind-uploaded soldiers, a surveillance net that can read murderous intent—but they bankroll the last Federation ghosts, and they’d rather digitize their citizens than bend the knee to outsiders. One wrong word could ignite a war no one can win.

As ecological triage collides with post-war paranoia, Series 2 of The Nature of Predators pits first-contact idealism against the harsh mathematics of survival. Alliances will fray, identities will be rewritten in code, and every species—predator or prey—must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to keep the spark of civilization alive.
