The song is in the feast or toast subgenre of Oirat Kalmyk long songs. Variants of the Öndɪ́r modná oradə́ song were published in Khonkho. Kalmyk Anthology, vol. II (1926: 136) and Kalmyk Wedding Ritual Poetry by Prof. Evdokia Khabunova (1998: 118, 119).
