🎉Happy 2026 everyone!! 🎉
After being down for a malfunctioning drone for almost 3 months due to the DJI/US situation, I finally have been flying for a few months again but I'm just getting a chance to edit my videos now.
I took this flight on New Year's Eve in Montpelier of the fireworks show and some of the lights around town. The 4th of July was rained out last year and it was nice to still have this show. Montpelier had taken a 5 year break from New Year's Eve shows and just restarted about 3 or 4 years ago.
There was only a small gathering of about 90 people and the entire crowd disappeared into the cold night within minutes of the grand finale. A handful of family's stayed for sledding and pictures with the tree but were leaving by the time I was done.
