Developing a healthy relationship with food can be really, really challenging. AND, that being said, the definition of a "healthy" relationship with food looks different for every single person.
Every single day we are flooded with diet culture. "Good" vs. "bad" food, diets, and so much more...There are SO many aspects of diet culture which can make food way more complicated than it needs to be.
I too have struggled with food in the past, and it led me to develop an eating disorder during high school. Now that I have recovered I want to help other people, whether you too struggle with an eating disorder or struggle with any kind of "disordered" eating. THERE IS HOPE!
Developing a healthy relationship with food will in turn help us thrive in our personal relationships with people, friends, and family. Not to mention, you can also develop a better relationship with your body.
In this video, I share 4 things that have helped me develop a healthier relationship with food. It is not always an easy process, but I can honestly say that I lead a much more balanced life because of it.
