Easy Campfire Recipes: Dutch Oven Cinnamon Rolls

There’s nothing like starting off your morning at camp to the smell of warm cinnamon rolls. Topped with a sweet cream cheese frosting that will delight even the pickiest of campers, these ooey-gooey goodies are sure to make your camping experience more fun, and more delicious. The only problem is deciding who gets the last one. Let’s roll!

Ingredients:

Dough:
1 loaf thawed white French bread dough (You can also substitute homemade/gluten-free dough)
A pinch of flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbs ground cinnamon
2/3 stick butter (or vegan butter), softened
Parchment paper or oil to prevent sticking
Dutch Oven with legs (or trivet)
Metal tongs or shovel
Oven mitts
Mixing Bowl
Rolling pin or water bottle for rolling dough
Knife

Icing:
1 stick unsalted butter (or vegan butter), softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup cream cheese (or vegan cream cheese)
1 tsp vanilla extract
