This is part one of the ‘Cat Tree Platform Wall’ that I will be making. It is going to be the first of several cat shelves. This is a 36” long wall mounted canvas bridge/walkway/hammock that I made for my cat Frankie (short for Frank). I made it from some ½” pine scraps scavenged from an old bed frame along with a partially used canvas drop-cloth. Both of these can be found new in most hardware stores, but I felt like being resourceful.
Materials:
an old canvas paint dropcloth
some 2-½” wide strips of ½” pine
a pair of 2” angle brackets
a few deck screws (1-¼”, 1-⅝” & 3-½”)
