Kashmir to Naran (Ratti Gali to Besal) offers breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences, from glacier-fed alpine lakes to crystal-clear mountain streams.

This 70-km trail spans from Ratti Gali Basecamp in Neelam Valley to Besal in Naran and passes through some of the most picturesque landscapes in the country. The 6 days and 5 nights trek covers 10 to 12 Lakes (Ratti Gali, Hans Raj, Ratta Sar, Kala Chasma 1, 2, and 3, Noori, Saral Lake, Dudipatsar), and few other small lakes with crossing 3 above 14,000 ft mountain passes (Gattian, Jumma and Saral). The beauty and diversity of this trail will make it one of the most popular hiking trails in years to come.

The verdant valleys, enchanting lakes, and scattering of waterfalls make the trek a paradise worth exploring. Just make sure you visit before everyone you know beats you to it.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Ratti Gali Basecamp to Hans Raj Lake and retun back to the Basecamp

Day 2 – Trek to Ratti Gali Lake and then leave for Gattian Lake and camp there

Day 3 – Trek to Noori Top Lake and camp in front of Noor Top Waterfall

Day 4 – Leave for Saral Lake via Juma Pass

Day 5 – Trek to the Queen of Lakes Dudipatsar via Saral Pass and camp at Mula Ki Basti
